Let's Talk about Podcasting: A Conversation with Nigel Poor of "Ear Hustle"

Let’s Talk about Podcasting

The award-winning EAR HUSTLE podcast is a partnership between Nigel Poor and Earlonne Woods, formerly incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison, and was co-founded with San Quentin resident Antwan Williams. Episodes offer a nuanced view of people involved with the American prison system and those reintegrating into society after serving time.

At this special master class, Nigel Poor, co-founder and co-host of Ear Hustle, will talk with students about the art and power of podcasting. Come learn about the reach of this medium and its power to start conversations and change lives.  This discussion will be moderated by Jonathan Alexander (English), Erika Hayasaki (Literary Journalism), and student podcasters Sydney Charles and Tatum Larsen, co-hosts of the podcast Black Fam 2.5.
