South Asian Student Union presents An Evening with D'Lo: Performance and Q & A
In Collaboration with the Cross-Cultural Center, Illuminations: Chancellor's Arts & Culture Invitiative, Advisory Council on Campus Climate, Culture, and Inclusion & UCI Department of Gender and Sexuality Studies

D'Lo is a queer/transgender Tamil-Sri Lankan-American actor, writer, and comic who shares his journey as a young queer person into queer adulthood. On his route to learning how to exist unapologetically, he is also confronted with the question of what it means to embody a beautiful masculinity that upholds his feminist politics.

D'Lo's shows have toured the college circuit, and theaters & festivals internationally. His work has been published or written about in academic journals anthologies, with features in The Guardian, NBC, and The Advocate. As an actor, you might’ve seen him in LOOKING (HBO), TRANSPARENT (Amazon), SENSE 8 (Netflix), Mr. Robot (USA) and the Issa Rae-produced show MFREE ADMISSION FOR ALLINIMUM WAGE.
