Do you know how to cook with a dried bean?  Did you know that dried beans cost more than half of canned already cooked beans, and are healthier?  Professor Ted Wright, Associate Professor of Cognitive Sciences, will explain the beauty of beans and how to utilize it in the best way, from selecting, storing to cooking we will discuss it all. Participants will get a chance to get their hand's dirty playing and learning to cook with beans.  A light dinner incorporating beans will be provided.
